Job Description
SummaryTurner & Townsend Japan has been supporting its clients on their procurement function for categories including contractor packages and longlead items. Across a variety of sectors such as data centres to highend retail we have coordinated the procurement function in all aspects from strategy to tendering to contract . This position offers the chance to work directly with the client to build relationships optimize procurement processes to suit best practices and grow the business.
Duties include below
- Prequalification
- RFx drafting
- Tendering & communication with suppliers
- Tender evaluation
- Procurement progress reporting
- Coordination with project team stakeholders such as engineers and legal team
- Supplier negotiation
- Contract
- Other various duties to support clients in executing their procurement function smoothly and efficiently
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in both English and Japanese
- Proficient in MS Office 365
- Excellent communication and organization capability
- Can work with other team members with care and empathy
- Experience in administering endtoend procurement project delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in consulting on procurement processes and best practices:
- Coordination with stakeholders to develop solutions that best suit client needs
- Market research
- Recommendation reports to client
- Experience working directly with client responding to specific needs to build and strengthen relationship
- Experience leading and managing team
- Experience with business development supporting organizations goals in enhancing its reach across the industry
