As a graphic designer your role will be to conceptualize plan and execute all visual aspects across all marketing channels including the ecommerce website retail stores product packaging social media print/web advertisements catalogues and lookbooks and overall aesthetic of the brand.
Tasks include:
- Coordinate with Social Media Coordinator to create visual assets for Social Media (Instagram Facebook Twitter).
- Assist Social Media Coordinator in choosing products and creating product stories for Instagram.
- Coordinate with the Retail Director to create visual assets for instore events and promotions (Invitations EInvites Flyers Signage).
- Create all visual assets for Retail Stores (POPs Window Vinyls Window signage Hoarding Walls Business Cards Want It Cards Marquee Wooden Blocks Shopping bag stickers Mall billboards).
- Coordinate with Printing Supplier to place orders for printed media.
- Design and create all visual content for our website (homepage banners giftcards newsletter signup overall design).
- Create all affiliate advertisements (Google Facebook).
- Coordinate with ECommerce Supervisor to review Ecommerce statistics and distinguish what products to push in order to generate more sales.
- Create the newsletter calendar (research concepts create visuals choose product).
- Create and send out 3 newsletters per week.
- Create 2 Product Catalogues per year coordinating with multiple departments in order to gather information (prices photos product descriptions text).
- Coordinate distribution of the catalogue to 12 different agencies.
- Research and brainstorm ideas and visual concepts for upcoming projects and launches.
- Coordinate closely with the Photography Department to obtain specific assets required for projects depending on deadlines.
- Design and create business cards for stores.
Additional Information :
- DEC In Graphic Design or Industrial Design
- 2 years experience in graphic design
- Working knowledge of InDesign Illustrator Photoshop After Effects
- Working knowledge of Salesforce (marketing cloud) and Shopify an asset.
- Experience working in the fashion industry an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral in French and English.
- Understand the fundamentals of the production and printing process.
