The Communications team tells the Grab story around the world. It supports Grabs growth by fostering a trusted brand and reputation and showcases Grabs values and leadership in Southeast Asia.

Get to Know the Role 

Reporting to the Regional Communications Senior Manager the Singapore Communications Lead is passionate about Grabs mission and will manage our perception among the government stakeholders and the public in Singapore. Your scope will span corporate and policy communications and you will develop communications strategies that are at the intersection of local regulatory policies community issues and our business goals.

This is a unique role that is based onsite at our Grab One North HQ. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of working with country team members from business marketing and public affairs teams to create creative integrated campaigns while leveraging our HQ investments to develop the Grab story in Singapore.

You will have understanding of the media landscape in Singapore and will build relationships with contacts pivotal for the business with experience managing crises and issues.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Develop comms plans to position Grab as a Singapore tech leader and to grow Grabs core businesses
  • Lead comms for projects that span corporate actions regulatory advocacy and change management
  • Preempt and manage the response to issues or crisis
  • Provide communications counsel to internal business leaders on announcements and internal policy changes
  • Manage media and KOL programme and build working relationships with them
  • Analyse metrics to determine the output and value of PR results and use the data as a critical planning tool

Qualifications :

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 12 years of experience: Corporate reputation management policy communications crisis management media relations integrated communications data storytelling
  • Experience managing teams and diverse crossfunctional stakeholder relations in ambiguous environments
  • You are motivated by motivated by handson challenging work
  • Excellent writing strong project management and processoriented
