Job Description

An innovative Independent Girls School in Hounslow seeks a dynamic Art Teacher to join us fulltime from April 2025. If you are passionate about fostering creativity and artistic expression in young women we invite you to apply.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Art lessons to Key Stages 35 including ALevel focusing on developing students skills in a variety of artistic mediums and techniques.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that incorporate a variety of artistic styles and perspectives.
  • Assess student progress through artwork presentations and written assessments providing detailed and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a dynamic and engaging Art curriculum.
  • Organize and lead art exhibitions workshops and gallery visits promoting student engagement and fostering a love of art.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate artistic perspectives into the wider curriculum.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Art and Design.
  • Experience teaching Art to ALevel with a proven ability to inspire and motivate girls.
  • A strong understanding of diverse artistic mediums and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for engaging young minds in the study of art.
  • A commitment to promoting girls achievement in the arts.
