Job Description
- Design configure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN WAN and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure optimal network operation.
- Implement and enforce network security policies firewalls and access controls.
- Maintain and support network hardware including routers switches firewalls and wireless access points.
- Conduct network capacity planning upgrades and performance optimizations.
- Develop and maintain network documentation configurations and disaster recovery plans.
- Work closely with security teams to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Automate network configurations and management using scripting and network management tools.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network administrators.
- Stay up to date with emerging network technologies and best practices.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in network administration or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP BGP OSPF VLANs and QoS.
- Handson experience with Arista Cisco HPE or other enterprise networking hardware.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls IDS/IPS and VPN solutions.
- Experience with cloud networking (Azure AWS or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible Python scripting or PowerShell.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong documentation communication and collaboration skills.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP or equivalent.
- Experience with SDWAN VoIP and wireless networking.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security models and network segmentation strategies.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and network monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds PRTG Zabbix).
