The Medical Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support such as financial management billing and insurance claims and medical receptionist support to the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcomes patients and visitors into the hospital and offers assistance with any inquiries they may have; including checking them in for their appointment and answering phone calls and emails in a prompt and efficient manner and routes them to the proper department as needed.
- Efficiently manages electronic scheduling system to arrange patient appointments and follows up to provide reminders.
- Coordinates with triage nurses for patient scheduling and provider availability.
- Maintains patient records by verifying accuracy of personal and billing information each visit.
- Manages office inventory and equipment by performing consistent stock checks anticipating needed supplies placing orders for supplies and scheduling maintenance for equipment service and repairs as needed.
- Actively participates in daytoday office activities including a variety of meetings and groups to improve procedural processes obtain approvals and remain abreast of new developments and policy requirements.
- Works with program management in daily administration tasks such as report preparation scheduling and tracking of patients and staffing.
- Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events.
- Performance of other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Minimum of two 2 years experience in an administrative role preferably in a hospital setting.
- Medical terminology certification highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook).
Experience Preferred:
Education Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Obtain provided American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
Other Special Qualifications:
- Must be able to read write and speak English to effectively communicate.
- Ability to obtain a base security clearance is required.
- Must be able to relocate to Qatar for the duration of the contract.
- A valid passport in Country of Record is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.
Additional Information :
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
