Job Description:
As a Python Developer Trainee you will work closely with our development team to learn and apply Python programming skills to build and maintain software applications. You will be trained in developing web applications working with APIs and solving realworld problems using Python. This role is designed to provide you with the skills tools and handson experience to become a proficient Python developer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining Pythonbased applications and software solutions.
- Write clean efficient and welldocumented Python code.
- Learn and apply Python libraries and frameworks (such as Django Flask Pandas etc..
- Assist in integrating APIs and thirdparty services with Python applications.
- Collaborate with senior developers to design develop and deploy software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and receive constructive feedback to improve coding skills.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in code as well as optimize performance.
- Learn version control systems (e.g. Git) and contribute to collaborative development workflows.
- Assist in testing applications and implementing unit tests to ensure the functionality of code.
- Participate in daily standups and team meetings in a remote setting.
Qualifications:
- A strong interest in software development and Python programming.
- Basic understanding of Python programming concepts and syntax.
- Knowledge of basic web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with working in a Gitbased version control environment is a bonus.
- A keen problemsolving mindset with a desire to learn and improve.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Python web frameworks like Django or Flask.
- Basic experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
- Familiarity with data structures algorithms and objectoriented programming.
- Exposure to cloud platforms or containerization (e.g. AWS Docker) is a bonus.
- Previous internship or academic experience in Python development is a plus.
