Job Description
- This employee provides application development/integration services to the Department of Technology Management and Budget and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.
- They will be responsible for the design maintenance development and enhancement of the agency applications.
- Project assignments and activity will be executed within the framework of the State of Michigan System Engineering Methodology (SEM).
- These assignments will provide for the development testing and deployment of application releases updates and modifications within a client/server and web server environment.
- This position is responsible for providing technical support for packages implemented for the Management Division of the department.
- This role performs system analyst assignments including but not limited to gathering requirements planning analyzing designing testing implementing documenting and maintenance of complex client server and webbased applications using Azure Dev/OPS.
This employee may maintain and support applications that are using the following:
- MS Dynamics 365 Microsoft Visual Studio Microsoft SQL Management Studio MS Power Apps/Power Pages Microsoft Team Foundation Server Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Visual Basic Scripting C# ASP VB SQL Java Java Scripting XML HTML Web Services AJAX and jQuery
Top Skill & Years of Experience Required:
- Extensive experience with MS Dynamics 35 years
- PL600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Certified Highly Preferred
- Web Portal 35 years
- PowerApps Highly Preferred
- Azure DevOps 5 years
- Database Experience 13 years
- Infrastructure/Network and Application Support 5 years
- Troubleshooting skills (ASP HTML etc. minimum years experience required 5 years.
