Job Description
- Lead/manage associates and multiple projects in an aggressive and innovative approach in developing new components assemblies and models utilizing a working knowledge of various materials processes and engineering practices. Demonstrated speed to market skills mandatory
- Utilize FBIN product development processes to develop new products that fulfill business opportunities (timing customer requirements and cost targets) while meeting all applicable building codes and internal requirements
- Motivate teams to investigate and coordinate outside technical/industrial resources to develop innovative quality designs to meet business opportunities
- Provide leadership mentoring and coaching throughout the engineering/manufacturing environment
- Compile prepare and present data for project updates and technical presentations to staff and executive management
- Provide engineering/technical support and project management assistance to all engineering customers both internal and external.
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Minimum of B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical Mechatronic etc.
- MBA preferred
- Prefer certification as a Certified Project Manager through PMA
- Minimum of 10 years experience in product development environment
- Demonstrated leadership of multiple teams and projects
- Have brought new products or services to the marketplace
- Excellent root cause problem solving skills
- Experience in FEA FMEA DOE QFD and DFMA processes a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel 1020 of the time
- Fully bilingual
- Strong knowledge in design software (AutoCad Catia Solidworks)
