We are seeking a Graphic Design Student for our Edmonton AB office within our Canadian Industrial Division that is available for 4 month or 8 months starting in September 2022. As a Graphic Design Student you will contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Developing a number of uniquely branded materials for various channels.
- Designing and creating artwork graphics and layouts for internal and external materials.
- Creating a small library of graphics and illustrations for future use.
- Developing branded materials based on PCLs visual identity.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a postsecondary institution.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator).
- Knowledgeable in all areas of graphic design: layout typography colour theory and production process.
- Understanding of how to integrate creative through a variety of channels.
- Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fastpaced resultsoriented environment.
- Creative thinker adept at working on a diverse range of design projects.
- Organized and diligent designer with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to create animations and motion graphics for video is an asset.
- Knowledge of After Effects or Motion is an asset.
- Knowledge of video production process (scripting storyboarding location interviews lighting sound filming and editing) is an asset.
