As a Senior Security Specialist in our Cyber Security team youll play a key role in safeguarding our cloud environment responding to security incidents and shaping security governance over Azure Cloud. Youll work closely with internal teams and external service providers to enhance threat detection incident response and security policies in a fastpaced and collaborative environment.
Youll make a positive impact by:
- Monitoring and responding to security threats across cloud and onpremise environments.
- Leading incident response efforts conducting forensic investigations and mitigating security risks.
- Developing security governance and frameworks for Azure Cloud environments.
- Collaborating with operations teams to integrate threat hunting and monitoring capabilities.
- Assisting in security policy development and compliance with industry standards.
- Creating security patterns and best practices for new technology implementations.

To be successful in this role youll have:
- Experience in cloud security (Azure AWS or GCP) and managing security services.
- Strong understanding of networking operating systems and scripting (Python PowerShell).
- Handson experience with security platforms such as Microsoft Defender firewalls and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to assess security threats.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal teams and service providers.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications (CISSP CISM GCIH Microsoft Security) (desired).
