Job Description
Were looking for a Recruiting Events Associate to join our Employer Branding and Events team. Our team is passionate about crafting experiences at largescale recruiting and industry events such as SIGGRAPH Grace Hopper Celebration and AfroTech to attract and engage with key talent for opportunities at Roblox. The Recruiting Events Associate will be leading of the teams Early Careers event strategy which also includes Roblox hosted events at Universities for Intern and New College Grad prospects and on site events while our interns are at HQ. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Recruiting Events Program as we continue to build firstofitskind events at Roblox.
You Will:
- Build and execute events for Early Career Roblox hosted activations and at Industry Conferences
- Lead virtual events programming and operations
- Partner closely with the Early Careers recruiting team to launch on campus programming at Colleges and Universities across the US
- Own end to end event management including outlining details deliverables and initiatives required to build promote and complete Early Career events
- Create processes and documentation for training prep and enablement such as a virtual events playbook and resources for ad hoc event planning by cross functional partners
- Cultivate influence and manage relationships through crossfunctional collaboration with Early Career team members stakeholders within the business and external vendors and organizations
- Source vendors such as venues DJs caterers swag producers
- Partner with employer brand design and creative to build Roblox content and graphics
- Lead event retrospectives and coordinate data to reflect wins learns outcomes and strategy looking ahead
- On the ground event lead including advising event setup and coordinating staff and volunteers
You Have:
- Experience with planning or attending early career and/or industry conferences
- A passion for working with early career talent
- Creativity always looking for meaningful and innovative ways to engage with external talent
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- An analytic mindset able to make data driven decisions
- Incredible attention to detail
- The ability to balance multiple events at one time
- A solutions oriented problem solving mentality with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations
- The ability to travel for event as needed
