Our nonprofit Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) is an innovative approach to treatment designed to treat the whole person through a comprehensive range of services including mental health and substance use disorder services. We are currently looking for interns for the upcoming Fall 2025 semester. This is an unpaid internship.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting cleaning and organizing data from various sources.
- Conduct preliminary data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Support the creation of data visualizations and dashboards to present findings.
- Collaborate with team members to develop datadriven insights for program improvement.
- Help maintain data integrity and accuracy by performing regular checks and updates.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and documenting data processes and methodologies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on data strategy.
- Support the implementation of data collection tools and software.
- Conduct research on best practices and innovations in data analysis for nonprofits.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Economics or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis and statistical techniques.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of database management and querying languages like SQL.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Passion for social impact and an interest in the nonprofit sector.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 1015 hours per week.
