Lead and Grow a Thriving Civil Engineering Team at ESP Associates
Are you a seasoned civil engineering professional with a passion for land development and empowering the next generation of engineers ESP Associates is seeking a dynamic Civil Engineering Department Manager to lead and expand our Fort Mill SC team (Charlotte Metro).
Your Role:
As a Department Manager youll be a driving force in shaping our civil engineering team. Youll oversee project design project management client relationships and business development while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
What Youll Do:
- Project Management: Lead a team of engineers in delivering exceptional results on land development projects from design and permitting to construction document preparation.
- Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong client relationships ensuring their needs are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
- Business Development: Actively engage with the community to identify growth opportunities and collaborate with our corporate business development team to expand our reach.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control standards overseeing every aspect of project design and documentation.
- Mentorship: Guide and inspire your team fostering their professional development and creating a pathway for career growth.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience: 8 years of experience in civil engineering land development project management and team leadership.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in site planning grading design construction document preparation and knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate and empower a team foster collaboration and drive successful project outcomes.
- Business Acumen: A keen understanding of business development principles and the ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to effectively interact with clients colleagues and regulatory authorities.
