Staten Island NY
Schedule: 5 8.5 Hour Shifts MF; 8:30am 5:00pm

In this role you will:
- Manage patient intakes ensuring accurate information recording.
- Collect and process lab specimens including venipuncture and diagnostic tests.
- Record patients vital signs.
- Prepare patients for examinations.
- Sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
- Assist providers and other support staff in the data entry process.
- Assist physicians during visits with examinations and all office procedures.
- Perform EKGs and pointofcare testing.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
- Proficiency with an EMR system (Preferred)
- Knowledge of standard precautions and the ability to utilize appropriate PPE when handling bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids
- Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations for patient care needs
Salary: Starting at $23 per hour based on experience
