Description

Summer Music Academy faculty will play an essential role in delivering a highquality precollege music experience to enrolled students. Faculty will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses on a daily basis including music fundamentals master classes private lessons and coaching chamber ensembles. Faculty will serve as role models to intermediate and high school students as these students navigate their own professional and personal goals. Faculty are encouraged to actively perform during the program. July(High School Division) and/or July 27August 2 2025 (Intermediate Division) for the 2025 Summer Music Academy at Ithaca College.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Teach music fundamentals class (theory sightsinging and history) as assigned
  2. Teach daily master classes in instrument/voice area(s) as assigned
  3. Coach chamber ensembles as assigned
  4. Teach private lessons as assigned
  5. Teach music electives as assigned
  6. Perform as needed
  7. Attend and supervise daily activities as needed
