Halyard is a highly skilled multidisciplinary engineering company providing services including site studies design procurement cost control program management construction management and commissioning in the mining and utilities sectors.
Headquartered in Toronto Canada we work closely with our wholly owned subsidiary Micon International with offices in Toronto Truro (UK) and Norwich (UK). Whilst this role is based in the UK it will support and work under the direction of the Toronto engineering team. The intention is to build and develop engineering capability in the UK that will in the short term support the Canadian operations but in the medium term establish a fully functioning engineering office in the UK.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for working with the discipline engineers but have a strong focus on the mechanical packages.
Reporting to the Engineering Manger but working on a specific job for the Project Manger this in an engineering role with a high degree of project management. The role requires a high degree of relevant engineering judgement in order to affect the management functions of this position. The work will require site time in addition to time spent in the UK and/or Toronto office. Your technical expertise and problemsolving skills will contribute to the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
