Lead Engineer Technical Delivery

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with senior business leaders product managers designers and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for stakeholders managing discussions and decisionmaking to ensure expectations are met.

Architecture & Discovery

• Lead the discovery and design of greenfield solutions evaluating technologies frameworks and architectures in collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
• Develop solution designs that address business needs prioritising scalability performance and security.
• Guide technical teams in adopting best practices in architecture and development to align with organisational standards and technology strategies.
• Coordinate with product UI/UX and technical implementation teams to ensure seamless platform design and delivery.

Technical Documentation

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams design specifications integration architecture and API specifications.
• Ensure documentation is clear detailed and accessible to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Review and refine technical documentation as part of governance processes ensuring compliance with industry standards and policies.

Technology Leadership

• Design and implement solutions leveraging Azure and AWS backend services ensuring optimal use of cloud resources for reliability and scalability.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends applying this knowledge to influence technical decisions and innovations.

Qualifications :

About You

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in solution/technical architecture technical leadership or engineering leadership roles within digital product teams or consultancies (not largescale enterprise environments).
• Strong understanding of microservices API design and security best practices with a focus on pragmatic scalable solutions over rigid enterprise frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in cloudnative backend development on Azure and AWS particularly in agile productfocused environments.
• Expertise in clientfacing digital channels including mobile web and portals with a strong emphasis on usercentric solutions rather than enterprisegrade systems integration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage crossfunctional teams clients and stakeholders in fastmoving projects.
• Strong technical leadership and delivery management skills with a focus on shipping digital products rather than managing large bureaucratic programs.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining digital products ideally in startups scaleups or consulting teams delivering modern digital solutions.
• Experience working in consulting environments delivering tailored digital solutions to clients rather than overseeing monolithic longterm enterprise implementations.
