We are excited to announce that we have just opened aLaboratory Technicianposition who will be supporting our local Laboratory in Warsaw in handlingmechanical and electrical testingin accordance to relevant safety standards. In this role you would be reporting to the Laboratory Manager who has been with UL Solutions for nearly 18 years!
Responsibilities- Supports the testing process in UL Laboratory by examination of test samples reading blueprints schematics and wiring diagrams measuring instruments and operational instructions.
- Supports the evaluation of test performance and reviewing test and construction data with supervisor.
- Builds and/or adapts setup and test equipment based on data sheets and instructions from Engineering department.
- Operates designated machines and special laboratory test equipment.
- Reports data to Engineers and other laboratory staff based on the instructions received.
- Supports Engineers in communication with clients during the setup and performance of a test to demonstrate equipment test methods and/or to discuss test results.
- Records observed or calculated data on appropriate UL forms and preparing data sheets and test reports.
- Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.

Qualifications- Technical High Schoolor Bachelors degree(preferably: Electrical field).
- Around 23 years of working experience in the same type of role would be preferred.
- Fluent Polish language and good command of spoken and written English.
- Proven ability to be innovative and creative. Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
- Desire to work in a teamoriented environment.
- Ability to incorporate automation into daytoday testing.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
- Overall knowledge about batteries will be additional benefit.
