DIRECTOR OF OUTPATIENT SERVICES LMSW We are looking for strong DIRECTORS OF OUTPATIENT SERVICES for two locations one being in the State of Washington and the other in the State of Illinois. Relocation will be provided along with an excellent compensation package. This position requires a Masters degree in Social Work.
POSITION OVERVIEW Responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programs of patients receiving treatment for psychiatric and substance abuse issues in outpatient settings. The Director assures that high quality clinical care is provided and that the clinical functions are integrated. Director supervises individual and group counseling and develops and implements a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities/processes. Oversees discharge planning to ensure an optimal post outpatient transition. Responsible for ensuring that clinical documentation is current and accurate and meets all regulatory and other standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Masters degree from an accredited school of Social Work.
Current license in social work in the state of employment as required by state regulations.
CPR and hospitalselected deescalation technique certification. A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles.
Preferred: Mental health professional license in the state of employment to conduct individual/group psychotherapy (e.g. LMSW LPC LMFT LMCPH)
Five 5 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of social service with an emphasis in the behavioral health setting and a minimum of five 5 years of supervisory experience.
Previous experience in outpatient healthcare.
Previous experience in a freestanding psychiatric setting facility is a plus
