Job Description
The Email Marketing Strategist is responsible for creating overseeing and implementing email and text messaging marketing strategies and campaigns that drive the reputation and growth of the nations #1 overall mortgage lender and Detroits fastest growing company UWM.
In this role youll leverage your digital marketing expertise to help us manage and optimize our email channel from developing platform strategy to defining journeys writing content and managing the and performance of singlesends campaigns and journeys. Youll collaborate daily with our highly talented marketing team tech implementation team and other stakeholders. And youll participate in digital marketing thought leadership helping us define new opportunities approaches and goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Leading email content and campaign strategy including SMS MMS and audience journeys
- Identifying content needs and developing email editorial calendars
- Writing editing and developing new and updated assets in collaboration with the creative team including coordinators designers copywriters and videographers
- Brainstorming and actualizing new and optimized content and delivery ideas and extensions based on interactions with business leaders and subject matter experts
- Researching email best practices competitive campaigns SEO and market trends
- Assisting in QA and deployment
- Monitoring analyzing and reporting on performance; collaborating with our analytics team on regular testing plans and preparing datadriven recommendations for ongoing optimization of messaging and automations
- Auditing content audience segmentation and marketing automations and updating as needed
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- 4 years of relevant work experience in digital content marketing email development and/or marketing automation
- Solid understanding of email marketing strategy processes and tactics
- Excellent and proven writing and editing skills; effective verbal communicator
- Curious innovative fast learner who is willing to bring new ideas to the table
- Selfstarter with excellent project management problemsolving teamwork and collaboration skills; strong sense of/pride in ownership
- Analytical; able to interpret and translate data into insights and actionable recommendations
- Experience with Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) Pardot or similar platforms
- Knowledgeable the latest email marketing trends and tools
- Bachelors Degree
