DescriptionMayo Clinic Rochester is seeking a motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our outpatient Cardiology team in the Chest Pain and Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) Clinics. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving outcomes for patients with conditions such as CAD coronary vasospasm microvascular disease endothelial dysfunction chronic chest pain and refractory angina. There will be opportunities to collaborate with multiple subspecialties participate in cuttingedge research and contribute to Mayo Clinics Bold.Forward.Unbound initiatives. This role offers significant growth potential in a clinic recognized for exceptional patient satisfaction for three consecutive years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments diagnoses and manage care for patients with suspected or known CAD coronary vasospasms microvascular disease and refractory angina.
- Coordinate diagnostic evaluations and interpret results related to chest pain syndromes.
- Evaluate patients with coronary artery disese and coordinate appropriate disgnostic testing and management plans including referrals for invasive procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic interventions.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes management strategies lifestyle modifications and medication adherence.
QualificationsLicense or Certification
- Masters or DNP prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner. Current Minnesota RN license and certification as an FNP or ANP.
- Or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and licensure as a PA by the Minnesota board of Medical practice.
- Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges.
- Cardiology experience preferred but not required.
- New NPPA graduate acceptable
