Job Description
This is a repost. Previous applicants need not reapply for this temporary position. The Department of History and Political Science invites applications for PartTime Instructors for fall 2024 or summer 2024. PartTime Instructors are hired on a semesterbysemester basis to teach history and/or political science courses. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of History and Political Science. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: teach facetoface and/or online courses attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include but are not limited to academic advising of students supporting student organizations participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.
Minimum Requirements
To teach History courses candidates must have a Masters degree in History at time of application. To teach Political Science courses the candidates must have a Masters degree in Political Science at time of application.
Preferred Years Experience Skills Training Education
Candidates with 13 years teaching experience in subject area are preferred.
