Sales Consultant Job Responsibilities:
- Keep uptodate on all product advancements and financial programs.
- Provide the highest quality of customer service to our clients demonstrate vehicles perform test drives guide clients through the sales experience and provide afterthesale service.
- Prospect and cultivate selfgenerated leads; follow up on all sales leads and inquires to achieve unit sales volume objectives.
- Actively engage with customers to build relationships; maintain customer satisfaction scores standards and positive social media exposure.
- Structure deals to complete the sale and achieve dealership profit and F&I goals.
- Ensure all deals values are accurate and required documents are present.
- Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior to being employed applicants for employment must participate in RBMs normal screening process which includes: completing a full employment application; satisfactory criminal credit and driving records checks (where applicable); inperson interviews and other inquiries.
- High school diploma or the equivalent and authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
- All applicants must have a clean driving record and must be insurable.
- Basic communication and problemsolving skills; basic mathematical skills using American units of measure.
- At least 1 year of documented experience as an automotive sales consultant for a luxury brand is required.
- Physical demands include: frequently position body and move in order to greet clients and explain vehicle features; drive vehicles; detect and identify vehicle issues and safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 20lbs occasionally 10lbs frequently); operate equipment; repetitive motion. Work is conducted inside outside in proximity to moving vehicles and driving on public roadways.
