Job Description
A Brooklynbased insurance company is hiring a Department Manager for its Personal Lines division. This role is responsible for overseeing the personal lines account managers with a focus on efficiently handling new business opportunities and managing the policy renewal process. The ideal candidate is organized deadlineoriented and has prior experience in personal lines insurance management.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support all personal lines account managers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Oversee new business and renewal processes to meet deadlines and efficiency goals.
- Implement strategies to optimize client service and retention.
- Coordinate team efforts to identify new business opportunities within personal lines.
- Maintain a standard of accuracy timeliness and customer satisfaction across all accounts.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience managing a personal lines insurance team or similar.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Indepth knowledge of personal lines insurance policies and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Location: Brooklyn NY
Salary: $85K$110K
