Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our growing technology team. As a Backend Intern you will work closely with experienced developers to build enhance and maintain our serverside applications databases and APIs that power our web and mobile platforms. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop your backend programming skills and contribute to realworld projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing serverside logic ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
Develop and maintain APIs for seamless data exchange between the frontend and backend systems.
Write clean efficient and reusable code following best practices and company standards.
Implement and maintain databases including writing queries and optimizing performance.
Debug and troubleshoot backend issues and identify improvements.
Help with security and data protection measures ensuring that backend systems are secure and scalable.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams including design product and frontend development to build and deliver new features.
Stay uptodate with the latest backend development trends tools and technologies.
Requirements
Basic understanding of serverside programming languages like Node.js Python or PHP.
Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Express.js Django Flask etc.
Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ability to write basic queries (e.g. MySQL MongoDB PostgreSQL).
Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of web security authentication and authorization protocols (e.g. OAuth JWT).
Good problemsolving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot backend systems.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve coding practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
Fresh graduate preferably in Computer Science Software Engineering.
Knowledge of database systems
Experience with RESTful APIs
Experience with version control systems (Github)
