Job Description
- Design and implement highperformance database solutions to meet business needs.
- Provide expert advice on database architecture data modeling and optimization.
- Lead database migration integration and modernization projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align database strategies with business goals.
- Ensure database security compliance and disaster recovery best practices.
- Optimize database performance through indexing partitioning and tuning.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging database technologies and best practices.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
- Document database architectures standards and policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Extensive experience in database architecture design and administration.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server Oracle PostgreSQL MongoDB etc..
- Expertise in cloud database services (AWS RDS Azure SQL Google Cloud Spanner).
- Experience with data warehousing ETL processes and big data technologies.
- Knowledge of database security backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and advise on technical solutions.
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Extensive experience 10+ years) in IT, data science, CXO position in technology, with a proven track record of leading and delivering successful data and IT initiatives. Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques. Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance regulations. Experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and business stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Passion for data and AI and its potential to transform the banking industry.
