Our Client: is a cuttingedge medical spa destination set to open in Toronto s vibrant King West district in summer 2025. TOULA Medspa is committed to providing technologydriven aesthetic treatments within an immersive and relaxing studio environment. Every touchpoint from consultation to treatment to retail is reimagined with intention where expertise meets artistry and the future of aesthetics is subtle precise and deeply personal. They exist at the intersection of aesthetics innovation and selfinvestment with a philosophy of prevention a commitment to natural results and an evolution in how they approach selfcare. They are currently seeking a dynamic experienced and passionate Medical Director to oversee the clinical operation.
Position Summary: As our Medical Director you ll oversee clinical operations ensuring that all procedures are performed in compliance with medical regulations and safety standards. You will oversee an experienced team of medical professionals while ensuring that treatments meet the highest standards of care and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical leadership and supervision to the clinical team including physicians registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Oversee the development implementation and monitoring of clinical protocols treatment plans and procedures.
- Ensure all treatments are performed in compliance with Ontario s healthcare regulations and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) standards.
- Perform consultations with clients to determine their treatment needs recommend personalized services and oversee treatment plans as needed.
- Conduct medical assessments and provide ongoing evaluations of clients health and wellness as required.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine cosmetic procedures and medical spa trends.
- Ensure the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction resolving any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the spa s management team to ensure the effective delivery of services and alignment with business goals.
- Develop monitor and review clinical policies and procedures for quality assurance and compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Provide training guidance and mentorship to medical staff and nonmedical staff to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Liaise with the spa s leadership team to provide feedback on operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with regulatory changes industry standards and emerging treatments relevant to the medical spa industry.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed physician in Ontario with active registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with at least 2 years preferably in a medical spa aesthetic medicine setting or related field (e.g. dermatology plastic surgery).
- Experience in supervising medical teams and managing clinical operations in a medical spa or related healthcare facility.
- Specialized training or certification in aesthetic procedures (e.g. Botox dermal fillers laser treatments PRP etc. is an asset.
- Knowledge of Ontario healthcare regulations and standards including those specific to medical spas and nonsurgical aesthetic treatments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
