About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons at ALevel following exam specifications and incorporating advanced physical concepts and research findings.
- Plan and deliver lessons that foster analytical skills problemsolving and scientific inquiry utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources including advanced laboratory experiments and data analysis.
- Assess student progress through practical investigations research projects and written examinations providing detailed feedback to support their development and ensure smooth transition midyear.
- Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum integrating current physical research and advanced concepts and participate in departmental planning.
- Organise and lead laboratory investigations research projects and sciencerelated activities promoting student engagement and scientific inquiry with a focus on seamless integration for midyear joiners.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong Physics subject knowledge including advanced physical concepts and laboratory techniques.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Physics at ALevel with a focus on both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to inspire and motivate highachieving students including those joining midyear.
- Commitment to fostering scientific inquiry and research skills.
