Job Description:
Weare seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our dynamic teamand contribute to the development of cuttingedge Androidbased automotiveinfotainment systems. Collaborating with a leading European car manufactureryou will play a pivotal role in adapting and enhancing the Android Platform tomeet the unique requirements of premium automotive hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement features for Android Platforms in automotive infotainment systems adhering to project requirements and guidelines.
- Conduct system analysis software issue troubleshooting root cause identification and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and thirdparty suppliers to ensure seamless software integration and delivery.
- Adapt existing software to meet specific customer needs while addressing performance and nonfunctional requirements.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation including design specifications and verification reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or masters degree in software engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in C/C programming for embedded systems.
- Handson experience with Android Embedded Systems (AOSP VHAL AIDL) and/or Linux development is preferred.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
- Competency in DevOps tools for Android development (e.g. Android Studio Docker Git Gerrit).
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics CAN networks and microcontrollers is highly meritorious.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and strong attention to detail.
Meritorious:
- Experience with Kotlin and Java for Android development.
- Awareness of automotive safety and quality standards such as SPICE.
- Familiarity with network protocols and peripheral handling (UART SPI I2C USB).
