Job Description
Your mission:
Youll join the FinCrime squad a group of teams which ensure that our controls strike the right balance for our customers and our compliance requirements in an effort to prevent and detect financial crime.
As a partner to our financial crime product teams youll help define our controls and support in the interpretation of global regulation to ensure our inhouse built AML Fraud and Financial Intelligence product is best in class and customerfirst.
What youll be doing:
Youll get to know Wise customers building empathy and deep understanding of their challenges and needs
Youll drive the design strategy and direction within the FinCrime squad shaping current and future work towards the groups north star.
Youll identify and drive enhancements that could improve our customer experience unlock growth and improve our operational processes.
Youll set a high bar for design excellence. Youll ensure outstanding product experiences leading by example to produce highquality work no matter how big or small the task may be.
Youll use the full range of product design skills to discover design and deliver simple empathetic wellcrafted experiences.
Youll collaborate across multiple teams and solve complex problems with crossfunctional partners.
Youll actively foster a healthy design culture shaping our collaborative practices and mentoring budding designers.

About you:
Youve got a portfolio of wellcrafted impactful work that solves real problems for real people.
Youre a seasoned collaborator designing in the open leveraging other functions expertise and taking them on the journey with you.
You have strong interaction design skills with a passion for highquality fit and finish. Youve worked with design systems to produce beautiful and functional design that scales.
You practise evidencebased design and can articulate your decisions clearly and credibly.
