Job Description
If youre interested in taking your career to new heights we have an immediate need for a fulltime Experienced CNC Programmer in Watertown WI.
Job description:
As a CNC Programmer this position will work with existing overhead cranes and hoists in the Konecranes legacy parts business. This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Specific responsibilities include:
- CNC programming of Lathes. Horizontal and vertical machining centers
- Knowledge post processors for machine tool programs
- Update and implement new versions of programming software working with internal tech support
- Standardization of methods for machining
- Work closely with shop floor personnel on setup reduction process improvements quality improvements to include tooling with new technologies fixturing and time studies
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Experience in Solidworks and the addin of SolidCam 5S and continuous improvement
- Minimum five years manufacturing experience. Must have a very strong machining background on Horizontal and Vertical Machining centers with CNC lathes a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required along with a working knowledge of computers SAP and Excel.
- Knowledge of tooling using the tooling database and tool vendors
The individual must be selfmotivated creative and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
