Job Description
Installation & Supervision
- Supervise the installation of mechanical components including pumps valves pipelines and filtration units.
- Ensure proper alignment welding and fitting of components.
- Interpret and review mechanical drawings P&ID diagrams and technical documentation.
Testing & Commissioning
- Conduct inspections testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Ensure proper calibration and alignment of pumps motors and piping networks.
- Assist in plant startup and operational trials to verify system functionality.
Compliance & Safety
- Enforce safety measures and compliance with environmental and health regulations.
- Prepare risk assessments and method statements for mechanical work.
Coordination & Documentation
- Collaborate with civil and electrical engineers to ensure smooth project .
- Prepare technical reports project records and progress documentation.
- Prepare invoices with the client and main contractor.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 35 years of experience in mechanical engineering preferably in water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants.
- Background in mechanical engineering particularly in water treatment facilities along with expertise in supervision testing compliance and coordination.
