Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bexley to assist with the appointment of a Finance Business Partner on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 342.07 451.78 per day
Summary:
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for implementing the business partnering function for a specified service area. The role involves providing strategic financial advice supporting service plans and ensuring effective financial management. This position also includes leading a team and working closely with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support financial planning budgeting and revenue/capital monitoring.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective use of financial resources.
- Develop financial data analytics for improved decisionmaking.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
- Provide training to managers on financial responsibilities.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while optimizing opportunities.
- Lead manage and motivate finance staff to deliver an efficient service.
Qualification:
- Qualified CCAB Accountant or Equivalent Relevant Finance Qualification
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations accounting principles and statutory requirements.
