Food Technology Teacher Inspire the Next Generation in Leicester September 2025
Location: Leicester School Type:GoodRated Secondary School
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join our Goodrated secondary school in Leicester starting in September 2025. This exciting fulltime permanent role focuses on teaching KS3 and KS4 students the essential skills of cooking nutrition and food science.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons that teach cooking techniques food safety and nutritional education.
- Encourage students to develop practical cooking skills and an understanding of food science.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment while fostering creativity in students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide improvement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Food Technology Hospitality or related discipline.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level.
- Strong organizational and practical cooking skills.
