Are you passionate about creating seamless intuitive designs for something meaningful and groundbreaking We are looking for a SeniorUX Designer to lead the development of user experiences for our UAV systems. You will focus on interaction design and usercentered solutions that empower operators to manage AIassisted drone systems effectively.

About the Role
As a Senior UX Designer at Six Robotics youll have the unique opportunity to lead the design of our innovative Valkyrie Ground Control Station. This role involves crafting experiences that blend cuttingedge technology with usercentric design ensuring that complex systems feel accessible and empowering to users. Youll be responsible for shaping Six Robotics interaction design guidelines nurturing an inclusive design system that reflects diverse user needs.
Here are some key aspects of your role:
- Design Leadership: Lead the design of the Valkyrie Ground Control Station setting the standard for intuitive and efficient user experiences.
- Design System Development: Create and maintain our design system ensuring consistency and scalability across our products.
- UserCentered Design: Conduct user research to understand operator workflows and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
Your work will involve close collaboration with engineers and product teams bridging technical functionality and user needs through creative problemsolving. This collaboration will help you develop and iterate on prototypes and wireframes fostering a culture of continuous improvement and userfocused design. Youll also be responsible for crafting clear productionready documentation for seamless developer handoff promoting effective communication across teams.

What Were Looking For
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in interaction design industrial design humancomputer interaction or a related field. Solid experience can make up for a lack of formal education.
- Proven experience in designing HMIs or UX for complex systems with a strong eye for UI aesthetics and functionality.
- A strong portfolio that showcases your interaction design skills and usercentered processes.
- Fluency in English; Norwegian language skills are a nice bonus.
- Residence and work permit in Norway (or willingness to relocate; we welcome international applicants but do not offer relocation assistance).
Bonus Skills
- Experience in designing control systems HMIs or similar domains.
- Experience in industries related to robotics aerospace or defense.
- Familiarity with usability testing methods and tools.
- Knowledge of visualization techniques for realtime data and decisionmaking interfaces.
- Experience working with hardwareintegrated software systems.
