Job Description

Are you an experienced and motivated Business Teacher looking to take the next step in your career We are seeking a talented Business Teacher to join a dynamic school in Wolverhampton starting in September. This fulltime permanent position offers the opportunity to teach Business to KS4 and KS5 students with the added responsibility of a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) for the right candidate.

  • Contract: Fulltime Permanent
  • Salary: Competitive based on experience (MPS/UPS TLR)

Role Responsibilities

  • Teach Business to KS4 and KS5 students delivering highquality lessons that support their learning and exam preparation.
  • Develop and implement innovative and engaging teaching methods to inspire students.
  • Lead and manage a designated area of responsibility within the Business department as part of the TLR.
  • Support and mentor less experienced staff members within the department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning across the school.
  • Monitor and assess student progress providing feedback to help them achieve their full potential.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Business or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Business at KS4 and KS5 level.
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE and ALevel Business curriculum.
  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students in Business studies.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within a school is desirable but not essential.

Salary
