About the Role
As an AIFM Manager you will be responsible for the daytoday management and oversight of complex Private Equity Fixed Income Real Estate and Fund of Funds portfolios across various Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). Reporting directly to the Conducting Officers youwill play a key role in portfolio management risk oversight and valuation processes ensuring compliance with AIFMD regulations while actively contributing to the development of the firms investment strategies and governance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding of new investment funds acting as a subject matter expert in portfolio and risk management.
- Participate in the analysis and assessment of investment and divestment opportunities for the funds under management.
- Review and interpret complex financial models to assess future earnings and profit potential.
- Conduct economic and financial market research to stay informed on global trends impacting investment strategies.
- Implement evaluate and improve investment management processes and sustainable investment policies.
- Take the lead on valuation processes ensuring accurate fairvalue estimation of underlying investments.
- Continuously challenge and update valuation models and methodologies in line with market standards.
- Prepare reports for senior management to oversee investment and valuation functions.
- Ensure adherence to AIFMD and Luxembourg regulatory frameworks by updating policies and procedures.
- Support regulatory filings and reporting for investment funds.
- Assist in drafting reviewing and updating the AIFMs policies and governance framework.
- Manage and mentor junior team members involved in investment and valuation functions.
- Act as a key liaison between senior management clients and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication.
- Support the Conducting Officer in daily operational and administrative tasks.
Your Profile
- Awareness of Luxembourg funds regulatory environment (AIFMD CSSF requirements etc..
- Experience in Real Estate Private Equity or Alternative Investment Funds is a strong asset.
- Knowledge and interest in sustainable investments is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving mindset with a high level of numeracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to interpret fund agreements investment contracts and economic briefs.
- Leadership skills with experience in managing junior professionals.
- Detailoriented and wellorganized with strong time management skills.
- Resultdriven with the ability to operate in a fastpaced environment.
- Fluent in English (French is a plus).
