Job Description
Position: SEO Strategist
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Fulltime Contract or Parttime
Role Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to develop and execute datadriven SEO strategies that drive organic growth. This role requires expertise in technical SEO content optimization linkbuilding strategies and performance analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset stays ahead of search engine algorithm updates and understands how SEO fits within a broader digital marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and traffic.
- Conduct keyword research competitive analysis and onpage/offpage optimization.
- Collaborate with content development and marketing teams to enhance SEO performance.
- Monitor and analyze site performance providing insights and actionable recommendations.
- Stay up to date with search engine algorithms industry trends and best practices.
- Optimize website architecture internal linking and user experience for SEO.
- Manage SEO tools such as Google Analytics Google Search Console SEMrush Ahrefs etc.
Qualifications:
- years of experience in SEO strategy and implementation.
- Proven track record of improving organic search performance.
- Strong knowledge of Google ranking factors algorithms and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools (Google Search Console SEMrush Ahrefs Screaming Frog etc..
- Experience with HTML CSS and website structure as it relates to SEO.
- Familiarity with content marketing and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data for actionable insights.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with international SEO or local SEO.
- Understanding of paid search and how it complements organic strategies.
- Background in eCommerce media or technology industries.
