Job Description
Position : Chief Reservoir Engineer
Industry : Oil & Gas
Location : KL Office
Scope of Works:
- Lead and execute reservoir engineering and management works for COMPANY operating
- blocks.
- Lead and execute conceptual development plan for the economic evaluation of the prospects for the project.
- Taking a lead role in the data acquisition planning/preparation/implementation related to formation evaluation and testing for exploration and appraisal wells in line with exploration objectives cooperating with subsurface G&G evaluation operation geology and operations teams.
- Taking a lead role in the selection of wireline/LWD related to formation testing and fluid analysis service company and in planning and implementing data acquisition for fluid analysis and welltesting cooperating with operation geology drilling operations and reservoir engineers from Tokyo HQ.
- Supervision and monitoring of wireline related to formation testing cooperating with operation geology team and engineers supported from Tokyo HQ.
- Lead and manage the interpretation of reservoir pressure data and fluid analysis data acquired from wells.
- Discuss the results with G&G and operation geology team to evaluate the well result resource estimation and/or remaining potential. Taking major role in appraisal planning if the well is successful.
- Comply with relevant HSE policies procedures and controls and applicable legislation and
- sustainability guidelines in line with international standards and COMPANYs guidelines.
- Support exploration manager to prepare and agree work program and deliverables and associate budget and planning related to the reservoir engineering works
- managements discretion depending on the operational activities in the department.
Requirement(s):
- At least 15 years experience in relevant fields.
