DZ Delivery Driver Flooring and Tile
Location: North York ON
Compensation: $25/hr overtime pay (after 44 hours). Expected earnings: $1325/week $5300/month $63000–$64000/year)
Schedule: MonFri 7AM5PM occasional overtime (paid)

Our client is a successful Toronto (North York)based luxury flooring wholesale distributor and retailer specializing in highend flooring and wall products that enhance any space. Their team is dedicated to delivering beautiful functional designs and helping a wide range of clients—including designers contractors and homeowners—find the perfect products for their projects. They’re seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Driver to handle local deliveries and represent the company with professionalism and excellent customer service.
Position Overview:
As a DZ Driver you will be responsible for delivering flooring products to residential commercial and industrial clients across the GTA and surrounding areas. This role requires strong route planning skills attention to safety and great customer communication. You will be driving a straight truck (automatic transmission) and must be comfortable handling deliveries solo while ensuring timely dropoffs.

As a DZ Driver you will be responsible for delivering flooring products to residential commercial and industrial clients across the GTA and surrounding areas. You will be driving a straight truck (automatic transmission) and must be comfortable handling deliveries solo while ensuring timely dropoffs.
What We’re Looking For:
We need a dependable driver with at least 5 years of overall delivery experience including a minimum of 3 years driving a straight truck with a DZ license. The ideal candidate is punctual professional and comfortable working overtime when needed.
Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct pretrip inspections per MTO guidelines and report any defects including electronic circle checks using a companyprovided tablet.
- Deliver products safely and on time to residential commercial and industrial clients.
- Load and unload the truck using a forklift or pallet jack (training provided).
- Plan efficient delivery routes across Burlington to Bowmanville and up to Midland.
- Communicate with customers making predelivery calls and obtaining signatures upon dropoff.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of company vehicles.
- Follow company safety policies including proper tailgate operation.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid DZ license with a minimum of 3 years of experience driving straight trucks.
- 5 years of total delivery experience.
- Clean driving record (no infractions/accidents no license suspensions no demerit points; minor parking tickets may be acceptable). Must pass a driver’s abstract and insurance questionnaire.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally (majority of deliveries are skidbased).
- Strong knowledge of GTA and surrounding areas for effective route planning.
- Comfortable with overtime as needed (some days may extend past 5 PM).
- Reliable and punctual consistently showing up on time and ready to work.
- Professional demeanor representing the company well with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
