Job Description
This position will perform cleaning functions including cleaning offices & washrooms washing floors cleaning sinks polish floors cleaning carpets and general housekeeping duties
- Clean rooms hallways lobbies lounges corridors stairways and other work areas.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures.
- Sweep mop scrub and wax hallways floors and stairs.
- Clean rugs carpets furniture and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Wash windows walls doors and ceilings.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Replace light bulbs.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
- Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
- May be assigned and coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed.
- Keep cleaning closets stocked
Qualifications :
- A minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
- A minimum of 13 years of experience in a cleaning or housekeeping related role is required.
- Successfully passing a criminal background check before first day of employment.
- Must have and maintain a clean and valid drivers license.
- Must be able to read understand and follow work instructions in a safe accurate and timely manner.
- Demonstrates adequate verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others & independently.
- Extended hours and shiftwork may be required from time to time.
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
