Job Description

Join Our Team as the Payroll Compliance Specialist

The Payroll Compliance Specialist ensures that all payroll activities adhere to relevant regulations company policies and industry best practices. The Payroll Compliance Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records processing payroll in compliance with tax laws and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to regulatory agencies. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll legislation tax requirements and auditing procedures to maintain the companys commitment to legal and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee payroll in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Monitoring changes to relevant tax laws and implementing necessary updates to payroll systems and procedures.
  • Reviewing payroll reports to ensure compliance with tax withholding and benefits deductions.
  • Preparing and filing payrollrelated compliance reports include tax filings yearend reporting and other required documents.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to address payroll inquiries resolve discrepancies and provide support on payrollrelated matters.
  • Conducting regular audits and internal reviews to identify compliance risks and ensure data accuracy.
  • Providing advice to payroll and HR staff on compliance matters and regulatory changes

Qualifications :

  • Strong experience in payroll testing implementation and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience in payroll compliance governance or a related field.
  • Previous handson experience with payroll systems and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Indepth understanding of compliance and payroll legislation requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
