We re on the lookout for a seasoned data expert with a deep understanding of data constructs strong analytical skills and the ability to make data a true asset in our business ventures. With 10 years of development experience under your belt you ll be working on cuttingedge data infrastructure collaborating with data scientists and analysts and ensuring our data remains secure across multiple regions.

Responsibilities
- Deep understanding of the dataconstruct is essential as well as insight on the interpretation.
- An ability to make data an asset in these ventures will be critical.
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
- Assemble large complex data sets that meet functional/nonfunctional business requirements.
- Identify design and implement internal process improvements.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics.
- Work with stakeholders including data scientists data analysts and other teams to assist with datarelated technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions.
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
Qualifications
- NQF Level 6 Qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 10 years of practical development experience.
Required Technical Exposure
- Advanced SQL
- Advanced Data Analysis
- Database skills and understanding of DB tables relationships.
- Data Modeling
- Advanced Excel (including advanced function pivot tables
- Data Governance principles
- Understanding of ETL Processes
- Extensive skill in Data Analysis and Modelling
- Knowledge of and experience in Loan IQ
- Backend on MSSQL (considering PostgreSQL in due course)
- Azure
- Abinitio / Connect Direct Denodo
