JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Operational Procurement Functional Consultant to help guide and support our public sector client in migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using the RISE with SAP Private Cloud model. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Procurement particularly in Operational Procurement SourcetoPay (S2P) Supplier Management and SAP Fiori. This role requires strong leadership stakeholder engagement and handson functional configuration experience to ensure a seamless transition to the new system.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and support the endtoend functional design for the Operational Procurement module in SAP S/4HANA.
Assess current ECC procurement processes and define the target S/4HANA solution ensuring alignment with best practices and public sector requirements.
Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA Procurement to support operational needs including Purchase Requisition Purchase Order Management Approvals and Procurement Analytics.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements conduct fitgap analysis and document functional specifications.
Support integration activities with other SAP modules (e.g. MM FI Ariba SRM) and thirdparty procurement systems.
Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and governance policies.
Lead workshops training sessions and knowledge transfer to business users and IT teams.
Coordinate with technical teams (developers basis security) to implement system enhancements.
Monitor and support data migration activities ensuring clean and accurate master data in SAP S/4HANA.
Provide ongoing postgolive support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
SAP Procurement experience with at least 3 years in SAP S/4HANA Operational Procurement.
Experience with SAP RISE S/4HANA Private Cloud required.
Strong expertise in Purchase Requisitions Purchase Orders Contracts Approval Workflows SelfService Procurement and Supplier Management.
Handson experience with SAP Fiori apps for Procurement.
Experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects preferably under RISE with SAP deployment model.
Familiarity with SAP Ariba SAP SRM and Integration with Accounts Payable (AP) is a plus.
Public sector procurement experience is highly desirable.
Transit Industry experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communication stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Strong problemsolving abilities and ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor s degree in Business Supply Chain Information Technology or related field.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
SAP S/4HANA Procurement certification (preferred).
SAP Procurement experience, with at least 3+ years in SAP S/4HANA Operational Procurement. Experience with SAP RISE S/4HANA Private Cloud required. Strong expertise in Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Approval Workflows, Self-Service Procurement, and Supplier Management. Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori apps for Procurement. Experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, preferably under RISE with SAP deployment model. Familiarity with SAP Ariba, SAP SRM, and Integration with Accounts Payable (AP) is a plus.
