Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Google Ads Media Buyer with a proven track record in managing PPC campaigns to drive business growth and optimize ad performance. This role is ideal for a seasoned digital advertising professional with 5 years of handson experience specializing in Google Ads search and video advertising. The candidate should have expertise in campaign strategy development and optimization particularly in finance and insurance sectors while demonstrating proficiency in Google s suite of advertising tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy Development:
- Lead the creation of Google Ads strategies from the ground up including conducting comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis specifically within the finance/insurance sectors.
- Define clear campaign structures (campaigns/ad groups) for different products or audience segments with a focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead generation conversion rates and ROI.
- Devise targeted campaign strategies that align with business objectives such as focusing on costperacquisition (CPA) to drive customer signups or other performance goals.
- Plan the mix of advertising networks including Search YouTube (Video) and Display ensuring appropriate use of each channel for optimal results.
Campaign & Optimization:
- Oversee the full of Google Ads campaigns ensuring ads are properly configured targeting is set up effectively and budgets are optimized.
- Craft compelling ad copy and select strong visuals for display and video campaigns.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance and make datadriven adjustments including refining targeting adjusting bids pausing underperforming keywords and conducting A/B testing on ad creatives.
- Implement Google Ads advanced features such as automated bidding strategies ad extensions and audience retargeting to drive enhanced campaign performance.
Video Advertising (YouTube Ads):
- Manage and optimize Google Ads for video including YouTube campaigns bumper ads and other video formats.
- Optimize video campaigns for key metrics such as view rate clickthrough rate (CTR) and conversions.
- Integrate video advertising strategies with search campaigns including using video ads for retargeting search audiences and vice versa.
Display Advertising (Bonus):
- Although the primary focus is on search and video experience with Google Display Network (GDN) and display advertising is a plus.
- Utilize display advertising to retarget and nurture leads who have interacted with product pages or visited key touchpoints (e.g. insurance quote pages).
Requirements
- 5 years of handson experience managing payperclick (PPC) campaigns with a strong emphasis on Google Ads search and video (YouTube) campaigns.
- A proven track record of delivering successful campaigns with significant monthly ad budgets.
- Strong expertise in campaign strategy development including keyword research competitive analysis and KPI definition.
- Expertise in Google Ads campaign and optimization including writing ad copy selecting visuals refining targeting adjusting bids and A/B testing.
- Experience managing and optimizing YouTube Ads campaigns including bumper ads skippable ads and video retargeting.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Ads tools and features including automated bidding audience targeting and ad extensions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with display advertising and programmatic buying including Google Display Network campaigns.
- Familiarity with the finance/insurance industry is highly desirable.
