Position Context
Reporting to the Deputy Group CFO the Headquarter of Egis is seeking its Finance Director who will have a dual role:
- Finance Director of Egis SA (HQ entity)
- Global Coordinator for Several CrossFunctional Initiatives
Key Responsibilities
1. CarveOut of Egis SA
- Structuring the entity to ensure its autonomy
- Implementing and optimizing accounting and financial processes
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and optimizing financial management
2. Team Development
- Managing and upskilling the current team of five financial controllers
- Defining roles and responsibilities to enhance efficiency and autonomy
- Deploying best practices in management control and corporate finance
3. Operational Partnership with Functional Heads
3.1. Supporting Functional Leaders
- Monitoring and managing support function costs at HQ
- Providing financial management support to global functions heads
3.2. Extended Collaboration with Human Resources
- Structuring and overseeing the global G&A forecasting process
- Supervising the collection review and validation of recruitment requests at HQ and in regions
3.3. Coordinating G&A Cost Optimization Initiatives in Finance
- Establishing a reporting framework for cost optimization initiatives
- Support the roadmap of the shared services deployment strategy at country regional and global levels including transitions to Best Cost Countries
3.4. Group Real Estate Controlling oversight
- Managing office cost control >300 offices)
- Support the Group Real Estate department on the review and approval of relocation projects
3.5. Supervising Group IT Finance
- Collaborating with two dedicated financial controllers reporting dotted to the HQ Finance Director
- Managing recurring IT expenses (licenses personnel etc.
- Overseeing central and local IT investments
4. Optimization of the Billing Model Between HQ and Subsidiaries / Between Subsidiaries
- Reviewing and restructuring the billing model
- Ensuring regulatory and tax compliance
- Optimizing financial flows to enhance efficiency and statutory compliance
5. Treasury Support
- Monitoring cash pooling operations
- Optimizing cash flow movements
6. Creation and Leadership of a Credit Management Practice
- Defining and implementing credit management processes
- Developing tools and indicators to improve receivables tracking
- Leading a finance community focused on credit management challenges
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration
- 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles preferably in a multinational corporate environment
- Strong expertise in controlling corporate finance and risk management
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Proficiency in Tagetik and Oracle is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Fluency in English and French
