The Opportunity
Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for an Operations Team Leader (Coil Plate Line) in our HCPD (Hot Coil Processing & Despatch) team based in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
Manufacturing the premium branded product TRUSPEC steel the two coil plate lines are a key asset in the Hot Mills business. In this pivotal role you will be the key point of contact for the shift operations in meeting the ontime delivery and quality needs of our customers. A selfmotivated quick thinker you quickly adapt and can juggle more than one task at any given time. You also enjoy keeping busy and working in a supportive team environment. Youll manage the teams success through their performance and productivity to ensure our business plan objectives and targets are continually met.
This role works on a 5day x 12hour day/nightshift roster. When you join our team we also offer access to our Employee Assistance provider and other health and wellbeing programs.
