Job Description
About the role
Based on your experience and qualifications your pay will range from $42.00 $54.00. As part of the Maintenance team you will be reporting to the Electrical Lead. You will be also working along with the Maintenance Manager Planner and other Leads.
You will be working a shift roster pattern 4 ON 4 OFF 12hour shifts and will be either working on Day or Night shift. A night shift allowance of $22.50 per shift will be paid for any nights worked.
As a Shift Electrician you will be responsible for:
- Receiving instructions from the Maintenance Planner Chief Engineer Head Engineer or relevant personnel as required by the business.
- Ensuring that production equipment is kept in a condition that will allow full running with as little downtime as possible to maintain production & timely completion of preventative maintenance activities to schedule.
- Utilising sound RCA and faultfinding techniques to improve plant reliability.
- Accurately maintaining all documentation and records both written and electronic.
- Taking ownership of quality system food safety and HACCP program
Qualifications :
For this role youll need:
- To be EWRB registered and have a current practicing license
- 2 years industrial experience & CMMS experience (highly advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of building trades cleaning procedures and maintenance practices
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Strong computer literate with capability in email MS Office MS Teams Deputy etc.
