Job Description

Our client a leader in the retail and eCommerce industry is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support their Nudging Management Team within the Personalization Product Area. This team is responsible for developing and optimizing a sophisticated Nudging Framework a tool used globally to enhance user engagement through personalized datadriven nudges. These nudges aim to improve customer interactions by increasing login rates highlighting loyalty points driving instore visits and more.
Project Description:The Platform Team supports data producers data consumers and data governance teams by making products discoverable with the right design and technology. This is achieved through the metadata backbone concept and components for data quality data pipelines data sharing etc. The platform is enabled by technical services software components and frameworks.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 48 years of experience
- Strong experience in backend development with Python and APIfirst applications
- Handson experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform GitHub or similar tools to automate infrastructure management
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles and ability to lead initiatives that enhance automation scalability and deployment efficiency
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines GitHub Actions and DevOps methodologies
- Understanding of system reliability service level objectives (SLOs) and error budgets
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively with teams
- Problemsolving mindset and ability to drive continuous improvement
- Fluent English
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and APIfirst principles
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Build deploy and maintain applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Work with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tools
- Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with security best practices
- Optimize system reliability performance and operational efficiency
- Implement and maintain DevOps practices to improve deployment processes
- Monitor troubleshoot and enhance cloud infrastructure and services
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve platform goals
- Follow Agile and DevOps methodologies for efficient software development
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
